I read the newspaper this morning and i am shocked for what happen in Pasuruan, East Java. There are 21 peoples died on the zakat maal event which is held by wealthy people in Pasuruan. Zakat maal is tithe in rice or money which is given in the last day of fasting month from anyone to those who needed.
Thousand of peoples coming to the event and have to Q in a hot weather. So, we know what will happen, they all pushing each other and trying to be the one who get the zakat maal. And 21 died...Ironic.
While all the leaders of the parties trying to get public attention by spending a lot of money for the election campaign, we have to open our eyes that there are peoples out there who need it most, even for Rp. 30,000!
Let me share my biggest condolence for them, we know this country is unfair :(
