I am a Cancer. No doubt about it. I’m moody, emotional, sulky, loving, clingy, intuitive, cautious, moody and moody. Did I mention I can be moody?

Most cancers move two directions; sideways and backwards. If and when they do move forward it is with slow, cautious steps. We are very emotional and when we get our feelings hurt we crawl back into our hard, protective shell and sulk. When we do emerge we are our loony, crazy, self again. We love our homes and our families and pride ourselves on taking care of everyone in the family. Mothering comes naturally to us, we goo and gaa over our babies, kiss boo boos, make chicken noodle soup when you’re sick and cuddle all over you.

Cancerians hold a strong emotional bond with our pasts. We collect and hang on to everything that represents our past. Old love letters, movie stubs, bottle caps, notes, matchbooks – you name it and we have it tucked away somewhere. We are strongly attached to our childhood memories and live intensely through them in the present.

Our romantic side loves to excavate through places where discoveries have been made or lost treasures can be found. Antiques, yard sales, old attics, and estate sales. We are ruled by the moon and have a strange intense pull towards it.

We are extremely intuitive and can sense things about people, places and events immediately. If something doesn’t seem right, we feel it. Health wise we tend to have a weak stomach, gastritis and other stomach ills. We also have a tendency to coughs and a weakness of vision.
